Book Discussion - Thursday, February 19 at 7 p.m.
Last month's discussion was canceled due to inclement weather, so we'll spend the first part of this meeting talking about last month's selection On Chesil Beach. This month's selection is A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. The Appalachian Trail trail stretches from Georgia to Maine and covers some of the most breathtaking terrain in America–majestic mountains, silent forests, sparking lakes. Bill Bryson introduces us to the history and ecology of the trail and to some of the other hardy (or just foolhardy) folks he meets along the way–and a couple of bears.

Family Game Day - Saturday, February 21 at 1 p.m.
Wii games, board games, puzzles, card games . . . you name it. The library will provide a variety of games for all ages along with refreshments.

Friday after the library closes, we'll be showing Disney's "Wall-E," the story of an abandoned waste management robot who finds true love and a new purpose in life. (Rated G, 98 minutes.) Library doors will open to moviegoers at 6:15 and no one will be admitted after 7:15 p.m.
