February's almost over, but . . .

. . . there are still a few things happening at Aram Public Library!

Monday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. we have our LEGO Club for age 6 and older.  What can you make from the library-supplied LEGO blocks?

Storytime with Miss Kris takes place on Tuesday and Friday at 10 a.m.

The Literacy Council's ESL class meets Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. to practice English conversation. 

Knitting Club meets Tuesday evening at 6 p.m.

Our Book vs. Movie feature film Saturday, Feb. 25 at noon is "The Lincoln Lawyer" starring Matthew McConaughey.  This film is based on a book, available at the library, by Michael Connelly.  The movie is rated R and will run from 12 to 2 p.m.  You're invited to bring a lunch and enjoy the dessert and beverage provided by the library.

The Friends of Aram Public Library meets on Monday, February 27 at 9:30 a.m.  If you're thinking of getting involved in activities that support the library, this is the group for you.  New faces and new ideas are always welcome.

Monday, February 6
4 to 5 p.m. - LEGO Club for age 6 and up.

Tuesday, February 7
10 to 11 a.m. - Tiny Tots Time for babies and toddlers with their caregivers.  Miss Kris shares stories, rhumes, music and movement activities. 

11:30 a.m. to12:30 p.m. - English Conversation Group. Practice your everyday English speaking skills with tutors from the Walworth County Literacy Council.

4 to 5 p.m. - Exploration Art Studio, for preschool through 3rd grade, experiments with paint and various ways to apply it to paper.  Dress to get messy.

6 to 8 p.m. - Knitting Club.  Work on your current project and share your expertise with our Knitting 101 class graduates.

Thursday, February 9
4 to 5 p.m. - Teen Book Club discussed The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. This group will meet upstairs in the main library.

4 p.m. - Library Board meeting.

Friday, February 10
10 to 11 a.m. - Preschool Storytime with Miss Kris.  Stories, songs, crafts and games -- lots of fun for everyone!

Saturday, February 11
10 a.m to 12 p.m. - Anime in the Morning, our anime program for adults, is showing Yozakura Quartet, episodes 1-5.

1 to 2:30 - Be My Valentine!  Make a trio of valentine paper crafts  with Stampin' Up demonstrator Laura Zaraza.  Please register. Recommended for age 12 and up.

This weekend @ APL

Coming up Saturday, February 4 at 10:30 AM:  CLUTTER-FREE LIVING WITH KIDS!  Bet you didn't even know such a thing was possible, but clutter coach Kathi Miller has all the answers.

Saturday from 10:30 to noon, she'll teach you what to get rid of and how to manage what's left.  She's got ideas for school work, sports gear, toys, books, and clothes.  You name it and Kathi has the answer to your clutter problem.  And guess what -- your kids can help create and maintain order!
