Friends' News and Views

Hello, July!  The Summer Reading Program is in full swing!  We hope you are enjoying all the activities, prizes, and programs for all ages that the creative and hard-working staff at Aram has planned for you!  Even though we are mostly a "behind the scenes" group, you may see a Friends member pop up from time to time to lend a hand and take part in the fun!

This year, thanks to the generosity of Kohl's Cares, the Monday Club, and patrons who support our perpetual book sale, the Friends have decided to cover the entire cost of the big white tent for the programs on the front lawn!  It will also be the home of our big annual summer book sale on Saturday, August 9 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Just a reminder, we always welcome donations of gently used books, movies, music, and games.  If you need help getting them to the library or unloading them at the door, please contact us at friends@aramlibrary.org

Best wishes  for an exciting July filled with special adventures and cool activities wherever your summer vacation takes you!  We hope you'll spend some time with us at Aram, the Library that Rocks!  Happy 4th!
