English Conversation Group – Wednesdays @ 1 p.m.
For students learning English as a second language, this is a chance for you to practice everyday conversation skills.
Pizza & a Movie – Monday, August 2 @ 11:30 a.m.
Planet 51 (Rated PG, 91 minutes) Tickets will be available in the Children's Library beginning at 9 a.m. on August 2.
American astronaut Captain Charles T. Baker thinks he is the first person to set foot on Planet 51. Little does he know the planet is inhabited by little green people who live in a cheerful innocent world. The only fear they have is that their planet will be overtaken by alien invaders from planet Earth. Now, before he becomes part of the Planet 51 Alien Invaders Space Museum, Captain Baker, with the help of his new friend, Lem, must figure out a way to escape and return back to Earth.
Lunch on the Lawn – Tuesdays at 12 Noon, August 3-24
Everyone is invited to bring a sack lunch and listen to music while you eat. In addition to blankets to sit on, a beverage and dessert will be provided. Enjoy the lovely August weather with lunch on the library lawn.

Maxwell Street Days Book Sale – Saturday, August 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sponsored by the Friends of Aram Public Library, this promises to be the biggest sale ever! A members-only preview will be held on Friday, August 13 from 2-4 p.m. Memberships are available at the door for $5. Saturday’s gigantic sale will be held under the tent on the front lawn.
