Tiny Tots Time – Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
This program brings babies and caregivers together for an hour of stimulating experiences intended to nurture the bond between caregiver and child and to increase the caregiver’s awareness of their child’s development.
Preschool Story Time – Fridays at 10 a.m.
Help your child prepare for school while having fun too! Meaningful literacy activities, such as reading, singing and playing with children, can impact a child’s brain development and subsequently, help provide them with the pre-reading skills they need to start school.
English Conversation Group – Wednesdays at 1 p.m.
For students learning English as a second language, this is a chance for you to practice everyday conversation skills.
Knitting 101 – This series of four classes continues to meet Mondays, March 1 and 8 from 6-8 p.m.
Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss – Tuesday, March 2 from 3-6 p.m.
Celebrate the birthday of the man who gave us The Cat in the Hat. This family event features an afternoon filled with games, crafts, cake and fun.
Feature Film – Tuesday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m.
The Time Traveler’s Wife (Rated PG-13, 107 minutes)
Clare has been in love with Henry her entire life. She believes they are destined to be together, even though she never knows when they will be separated. Henry is a time traveler, cursed with a rare genetic anomaly that causes him to live his life on a shifting timeline, skipping back and forth through his lifespan with no control. Despite the fact that Henry's travels force them apart with no warning, Clare desperately tries to build a life with her one true love. Based on the book by Audrey Niffeneger.
Basic Internet Class – Thursday, March 4 from 1:30-3 p.m.
Beginning computer users go on-line in this class. Learn about browsers, web addresses, and internet searches in this hands-on session. Registration required.
Young Artist Reception, Tuesday, March 9 from 6-8 p.m.
March is Youth Art Month and the Aram Public Library will again display the work of elementary and middle school art students. Meet these talented young artists at our gallery night reception on March 9. Artwork will be shown in the Children’s Library throughout the month.

Children’s books are featured at this seasonal sale which includes everything from picture books to biographies. A “Friends only” private sale will be held Friday, March 12 from 3-5 p.m. Buy a membership at the door for only $5 to be eligible for this exclusive preview. The sale will be open to the public Saturday, March 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Barn Quilts – Tuesday, March 16 at 1:30 p.m.
Learn about the Walworth County Barn Quilt Project from UW Extension Agribusiness Agent Peg Reedy. The project promotes the rural heritage of the county by highlighting the architecture and history of barns and encouraging the preservation of these structures, as well as educating the public about the art and history of quilting. Currently, the barn quilt group is working on painting 8’x8’ quilt blocks to hang on area barns.

Discover how de-cluttering can improve your life. Gain a new perspective on your belongings. Learn how to take control of paperwork and mail. Join us for this motivating and informative presentation by Kathi Miller, Clutter Coach.

Vanilla peanut butter swirl with craisins and mint . . . chocolate pistachio cream with pineapple sauce and kiwi . . . Create a new cool dessert by combining ice cream flavors, toppings and sauces. For grades 8-12.

“Skeeter” Phelan is just home from college in 1962, and, anxious to become a writer, is advised to write about what disturbs her. The budding social activist begins to collect the stories of the black women on whom the country club sets relies, enlisting the help of Aibileen, a maid who's raised 17 children, and Aibileen's best friend Minny, who's found herself unemployed more than a few times after mouthing off to her white employers. The book Skeeter puts together based on their stories is scathing and shocking, bringing pride and hope to the black community, while giving Skeeter the courage to break down her personal boundaries and pursue her dreams.

A body has been discovered at the library. You are the detective. Was it Professor Plum in the ballroom with the candlestick or Miss Scarlet in the library with the book end? Follow the rules of the Clue board game as you comb the library for answers and uncover the details of this hideous crime! For grades 4-8.
