This week at the library . . .

1:30 on Tuesday, 7/17:  Bubble-ology!  Become a master Bubble-ologist (soapy scientist). Learn how to make a square bubble, blow bubbles inside of bubbles, and more. Find out why scientists study soap bubbles to help us understand the way our universe works.

10:00 on Wednesday, 7/18Storytime with Miss Kris brings you stories, songs, and activities for kids up to age 6. 

1:00 on Wednesday, 7/18: So, you want to be a Superhero! This fun program for tweens (age 9-12) features superhero themed activities.  What kind of superpowers do you have?  (This program was advertised at both 1:00 and 1:30. Come whenever you can, but 1:00 is preferred.)

7:00 on Wednesday, 7/18:  Aram PL's Book Discussion Group meets to talk about Learning to Die in Miami by Carlos Eire, the story of his adjustment to life in America after being sent from Cuba to Miami as part of Operation Peter Pan.  Anyone who has read the book is welcome to attend.

9:30 on Saturday, 7/21: In Coupon Clipping 101, Dannelle Gay shares the techniques that helped her save $40,000 in less than a year. You don't have to be an "extreme couponer" or transform your basement into a warehouse to save money on household expenses.  Learn how in this free workshop. (Registration was requested for this program, but we still have room; drop-ins are welcome!)

1:00 on Saturday, 7/21: Paranormal Research.  Presented by the Southern Wisconsin Paranormal Research Group, this fascinating program investigates things that go bump in the night.  Learn about  Wisconsin hauntings, listen to actual EVP recordings, and find out how paranormal research is conducted.  This program is open to anyone age 9 or older and takes place after the library closes on Saturday.  Doors will open at 12:45.
