Doomsday Prepping?

. . . well maybe not doomsday, but it always pays to be prepared.  Just look at the news . . . floods and fires have been feature stories across the country lately.  If you had to evacuate your home immediately, would you be ready?  What about being stranded in your car by a flash flood or other weather emergency?  Could you survive?

Emergency preparedness expert Jim Cobb shares his knowledge on Saturday, July 7 at 10 a.m.  Learn how your family can be ready for a variety of emergencies, from making evacuation plans to stocking supplies.  In our uncertain world, being prepared can make all the difference for you and your loved ones.  It may not be the end of the world as we know it, but I'd rather be ready than be taken by surprise.

Registration is recommended, but not required for this very worthwhile workshop.  Saturday, July 7 at 10 a.m., stay cool in the air conditioned library and do something for yourself, your family, and your friends -- be prepared!
