Monday again!

Looking for a few good activities to do this week?

Storytime with Ms. Denise is all about going to bed this week!  Yawn!  Get ready for a good night's sleep on Wednesday, November 20 at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m.

For adults, the Aram Book Club meets on Thursday, November 21 at 6:30 to discuss The Paris Wife by Paula McClain.  Set in the 1920's in both Chicago and Paris, this book captures a remarkable period of time and a love affair between two unforgettable people: Ernest Hemingway and his wife Hadley.

For kids of all ages, enjoy Saturday morning cartoons at the library on November 23 at 10 a.m.  We'll feature classic cartoons and tasty breakfast treats, and comfy clothes (or PJs) are encouraged!

NEXT WEEK, holiday hours are in effect.  Monday and Tuesday 9:30-8, Wednesday 9:30-5, Thursday and Friday we're closed,  Saturday 9-3, Sunday 1-5.  But there are still interesting and fun things to do at the library on the days we're open!

Monday, November 25 at 11 a.m. babies and toddlers have a chance to read and dance with their favorite grownups.  Book Boogie pairs stories and movement in a very special storytime for our littlest future readers.

That same day, November 25, at 6 p.m. the Guilty Pleasures book club meets to talk about Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning.  If you like paranormal suspense and romance, you should check out this book club.  Plus they always have the most wonderful treats!

Let's talk turkey!  Do-it-yourself Thanksgiving decorations are a lot more fun and much more meaningful.  Tuesday, November 26 at 4 p.m., dig into our craft supplies and make something that's just your style.  Maybe a paper wreath or a leaf turkey.  Maybe a pilgrim hat or some special placemats.  We'll provide the supplies. Just bring your creativity!
