Coming up this week . . .

Monday, November 4 at 4:30 - LEGO Club
We've got a ton of LEGO  blocks just waiting for someone to make them into an awesome vehicle, castle, monster . . . they can become just about anything!  Don't be shy.  LEGO Club is for all ages, so if you love LEGOs, come to the library and have a blast building!

Tuesday, November 5 at 6:30 - Preparedness 101 (Zombie Apocalypse)
You have to admit, prepping for a zombie apocalypse is a pretty clever way to bring the need for emergency plans and supplies to everyone's attention.  It sure got my family interested.  There's no registration and no limit on the number who can attend this workshop, so if you're in the neighborhood on Tuesday after you vote, stop in and learn what everyone needs to do to be prepared for any sort of emergency situation.  Like the CDC says:  Don't be a zombie, be prepared!

Wednesday, November 7 at 10am and 2pm - Storytime with Ms. Denise
Are you ready for some storytime fun?  Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers will discover the harvest moon in this week's storytime.  Parents are encouraged to bring babies and toddlers to the morning session and preschoolers to the afternoon session, but if you've got children in both age groups you're welcome to attend at either time.

Thursday, November 7 at 6:30 - Affordable Care Act Informational Meeting
Do you need some help making sense of the health insurance marketplace?  Are you having trouble understanding what ObamaCare is all about?  Do you know if this program applies to you?  Come to this informational meeting at the library and let Dr. Katherine Gaulke answer your questions.

Sunday, November 10 from 2 to 3:30 - Beginning Sign Language Class
Speaking and understanding American Sign Language is a valuable skill for anyone in our community.  This class is for those who have no sign language experience. Learn basic signs used in everyday communication.  Registration is recommended; however, since this class was recently added to our November lineup, drop-in students are welcome.
