Tiny Tots Time –
Tuesdays @ 10 a.m.
This program brings toddlers and caregivers together for an hour of stimulating experiences intended to nurture the bond between caregiver and child and to increase the caregiver’s awareness of their child’s development.
Preschool Story Time – Fridays @ 10 a.m.
Help your child prepare for school while having fun too! Meaningful literacy activities, such as reading, singing and playing with children, can impact a child’s brain development and subsequently help provide them with the pre-reading skills they need to start school.
Friends of APL Holiday Nut Sale - Saturdays

Friends of APL Holiday Nut Sale - Saturdays
This year, the Friends of APL make holiday gift giving easy. Each Saturday from November 14 through December 19, the Friends will sell delicious praline pecans at the library between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. One-half pound of nuts in a decorative gift bag will sell for $5.
English Conversation Group – Wednesdays @ 1 p.m.
For students learning English as a second language, this is a chance for you to practice everyday conversation skills.
Circular Knitting – Tuesday, October 27 & November 3, @ 6 p.m.
If you’ve already given everyone on your gift list a scarf, here’s your chance to branch out a bit. This two-session class will teach you to make a hat using five-needle circular knitting. All supplies are furnished. Registration required.
Holiday Place Settings – Thursday, November 5 @ 6:30 p.m.
Dress up your holiday table with beautiful hand-made accessories. Stampin’ Up demonstrator Laura Zaraza will teach you to make beautiful place settings for any occasion. Registration required.

The youngest daughter of a well-born rancher, Tita has always known her destiny: to remain single and care for her aging mother. When she falls in love, her mother quickly scotches the liaison and tyrannically dictates that Tita's sister must marry the luckless suitor, Pedro, in her place. But Tita has one weapon left--her cooking. In Spanish with English subtitles.

Stampin’ Up demonstrator Laura Zaraza is full of fun ideas to make the most of your holiday season. At this workshop, she’ll share the how-to’s of making cards, ornaments, and a home décor item. Registration required.
