September is National Library Card Month!

Replace your lost library card for free! We know how hard it is to live without a library card, so during the month of September, we’ll waive the $2 fee for replacing a lost card. Sometime during the month, we will be unveiling our newly designed card with key tag! Whether you have lost your card, never had one, or would just like to sport one of our nifty new cards, be sure to bring in current identification, and we will issue you a ticket to the world of knowledge and entertainment!

Parents, wouldn’t the younger members of your family love to have their own library cards?  Using the library not only gives you access to LOTS of print, audio, and visual materials, it’s also an excellent opportunity to teach children about responsibility.  The library provides a safe and friendly environment for your family to read, study, do homework, and use the computer.

That’s not all – watch for fun programs like our LEGO club, pumpkin decorating, holiday crafts, and more.  Bring your beginning readers to Tail Waggin’ Tutors and let them read to a therapy dog (who is a very good listener.)  There’s something for everyone at Aram Public Library!
