December 2008 Library Calendar
Here's what's happening at the Aram Public Library in December:

Babies age 0-2 learn and play with their parents/caregivers.
Tiny Tots will take a break between December 9 and January 13, 2009.
Preschool Story Time
Friday, December 5 and 12 at 10 a.m.
Preschoolers and their caregivers share stories, music, crafts and fun!
Story Time will take a break between December 12 and January 16, 2009.
"Gingerbread" Architecture
Saturday, December 13 from 1-3 p.m.
Discover the delicious world of cookie construction when you attend this family program. Let your imagination be your guide as you create your own magical "gingerbread" house out of graham crackers, frosting, and delicious decorations. All materials will be provided.
A Visit from Santa
Saturday, December 20 from 1-3 p.m.
We've heard from the North Pole that Santa is looking forward to visiting the library this year. His "Naughty and Nice" list shows many, many good children live in the Delavan area and he can't wait to hear what you would like for Christmas. This is also a perfect photo opportunity, so parents remember to bring your cameras. Refreshments and a craft make this the perfect event to put you in the holiday mood.
The Aram book discussion group does not meet in December. Our next meeting will be Thursday, January 15 at 7 p.m. when we will discuss On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan.
The Library will be closed December 24, 25, 31 and January 1.
